This handcrafted vase is a true beauty of nature, made with a whole lot of patience. Layering coils of clay to build the form, and then every poppy seed pod and stem is shaped by hand, one at a time, using the coiling method.
It took hours of work and countless trials to get this design right. Before settling on the final look, we tested it on miniature versions of the vase, experimenting with shapes, textures, and finishes.
